MISSION: To provide effective and compassionate evidence-based treatments to family members of veterans. Whether you are dealing with the stress related to a family member’s current deployment or pre- or post-deployment adjustment, we can help. The Military Family Clinic’s doors are open to veterans, active duty service members, and their families that are affected by all phases of deployment and other life stressors. Our team of highly trained and dedicated clinicians provides private, confidential, compassionate, evidence-based treatment, consultation, and medication management for individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families of primarily OIF/OEF service members and veterans. We work with clients who seek help for:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma and Stress
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Military Sexual Trauma
  • Grief and Loss
  • Readjustment Problems
  • Alcohol and Substance Abuse
  • Family and Relationship Conflicts
  • Parenting Concerns
  • Children’s Behavioral or Academic Problems

The Harlem Vet Center offer FREE Services to military veterans. Their services include:

  • Combat and non-combat vets
  • Individual, family, couples therapy (for vets or family members)
  • Groups: DBT, mindfulness, PTSD (OEF/OIF), women’s
  • Benefits counseling, housing, school
  • Higher level of confidentiality than VA (closed records to DOD)
  • No wait list

Joining Forces for Women Veterans and Military Spouses Mentoring Plus

Joining Forces Mentoring Plus™ provides FREE resources, including mentors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and online connections for women veterans and military and veteran spouses to assist them in obtaining meaningful employment and a successful career of interest to them. This mentoring model is based on career and workforce development goals.
